Zuk has introduced the Z2 back in May; the company has introduced the Rio Edition just in time for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. The Rio edition also has the same specifications of the original Z2. It sports a 5-inch 1080p display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820Soc but this comes with 3GB of Ram and 32GB internal storage compared to the 4GB Ram on the original Z2. The ZUK Z2 Rio Edition smartphone comes in Black and White colors and is priced at 1599 yuan (US$ 240 / Rs. 16110 approx.). It will be available in China starting from August 2nd. The Zuk Z2 sports a 5-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) LTPS display with 2.5D curved glass and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset clocked at 2.15GHz Quad-Core with Adreno 530 GPU coupled with 3GB Ram and 32GB internal storage. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ZUI 2.0 right out of the box.
Talking about the camera, the device features a 13-megapixel rear camera with ISOCELL sensor, dual-tone LED Flash, 1.34μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, Hybrid PDAF and on the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera with 1.4μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture for better low-light clicks and video chats. The Zuk Z2 features a Fingerprint sensor for better security. Connectivity features include 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB 3.1 Type-C. A 3100 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 is on board.
