Asus has introduced the ZenPad 3 8.0; the Zenpad 3 is the latest high-end Android tablet in ZenPad series. The tablet sports a 7.9-inches QXGA display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 coupled with 4GB Ram and 32GB internal memory. The Asus ZenPad 3 8.0 comes in Black color. There is also a separate Zen Clutch protective case that also acts as a stand and includes slots for storing credit cards etc. No word on the pricing of roll out details yet. The Asus ZenPad 3 8.0 sports a 7.9-inches (2048×1536 pixels) IPS display with 178-degree viewing angle. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650Soc clocked at 1.8GHz Hexa-Core 64-bit processor with Adreno 510 GPU coupled with 2GB Ram and 16GB storage on the base model while the high-end gets a 4GB Ram and 32GB internal storage, both these models come with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Zen U.I 3.0.

In the camera department, the device packs an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera for video calls. The tablet features a Dual front facing stereo speakers, DTS-HD audio, 7.1-channel virtual sound. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C. A 4680 mAh battery is on board.
