Honor 5 With 5-inch HD Display, 2GB Ram Launched in China For 599 Yuan

Huawei’s Honor has just launched the Honor 5 smartphone in China along with Note 8 phablet, the Honor 5 smartphone sports a 5-inch HD display, runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by MediaTek MT6735P processor. The device comes in Black, White and Gold colors and is priced at 599 Chinese Yuan (US$ 90 / Rs. 6,019 approx.). It will go on sale in China starting from August 2nd. The Huawei Honor 5 sports a 5-inches HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by MediaTek MT6753Soc clocked at 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor with Mali T720 GPU coupled with 2GB Ram and 16GB internal storage with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Emotion U.I 3.1 Lite on top.

Talking about the camera, the device features an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED Flash and a 2-megapixel front camera with LED flash for better selfies and video calls. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Dual SIM, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS. A 2200mAh battery is on board.
