Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Powered by Helio X20, 4100mAh battery announced

Xiaomi has officially announced the Redmi Note 4 at an event in China; the Redmi Note 4 is the successor to the very infamous Note 3 that was launched earlier this year. The device sports a 5.5-inches Full HD 1080p 2.5D curved glass display, MediaTek Helio X20 coupled with 2/3 GB variant with 16/64GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes in Gold, Silver and Gray colors and is priced at 899 yuan (US$ 135 / Rs. 9060 approx.) for the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version and the 1199 Yuan for the 3GB RAM with 64GB storage version. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will be available in China starting from August 26th through Mi online store, China Mobile and online retailers. The Redmi Note 4 sports a 5.5-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display, up to 72% NTSC color gamut, 1000:1 contrast ratio. Powered by MediaTek Helio X20 Soc clocked at 2.1GHz Deca-Core processor with Mali-T880MP4 GPU coupled with 2GB Ram and 16GB Rom for base model while the high-end version features a 3GB Ram and 64GB storage with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 out of the box.

Talking about the camera, the device features a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF; dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture, 85-degree wide-angle lens for better selfies and video calls. The device rocks both the Fingerprint Sensor for extra security and the Infrared sensor to control electronic gadgets. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C. A 4000mAh (minimum) / 4100mAh (typical) battery is on board.
