Apple iPhone 7 With A10 Fusion Chip, 2GB RAM Goes Official

Apple.Inc has introduced the iPhone 7 smartphone along with the iPhone 7 Plus, just like the 7 Plus the iPhone 7 also doesn’t come with 3.5 mm audio jack, but Apple is bundling the adapter for free within the box. Pricing of the Apple iPhone 7: The Apple iPhone 7 will be available in Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, Black and Jet Black colors in 32, 128 and 256 GB storage options. The JetBlack color model is exclusive to 128GB and 256GB. The device is priced at the US $649 for the base 32GB model, $749 for 128GB and $849 for 256GB version.

Apple iPhone 7 Specifications and Features: The iPhone 7 sports a 4.7-inch (1334×750 pixels) Retina HD LED-backlit widescreen multi-touch wide color display (P3) with IPS technology. The display accounts to a pixel density of 326 PPI and a contrast ratio of 1400:1, it also comes with the fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. Just like the iPhone 6s series, the iPhone 7 also comes with 3D touch which allows the device in differentiating a regular tap and a longer or more forceful tap on the display.

It is powered by the all new A10 Fusion Quad-Core chipset with six-core GPU along and M10 motion coprocessor that has a 64-bit architecture and it packs in 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The iPhone 7 will be available in 32/128/256GB storage options and runs on the latest iOS 10 right out of the box. The device is also water and dust resistant as it is IP67 rated.

Talking about the camera, the iPhone 7 Plus features a 12-megapixel rear iSight camera with Quad-LED True Tone flash, f/1.8 aperture wide angle, f/2.8 aperture (telephoto), 6-element lens and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), it is capable of Optical zoom at 2x and digital zoom up to 10x.  The rear camera is capable of recording UHD 4K videos at 30fps, 1080p Full HD video at 30 or 60 fps and 720p videos at 30 fps. The rear cam can take 8MP still images while recording 4K videos. On the front, there is a new 7-megapixel camera with Retina Flash for bright selfies, f/2.2 aperture and can record Full HD 1080p videos.

The Home button also underwent changes, it is now pressure sensitive and comes with the new generation Taptic Engine. Though the device doesn’t come with 3.5 mm audio jack, Apple is bundling lighting to 3.5mm adapter inside the box for free. The device comes with new stereo speakers that offer a great audio experience which is two times louder than the iPhone 6s.

Connectivity features include, 4G LTE, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with MiMo, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, GPS and GLONASS, VoLTE. Sensors on board include Touch ID, Barometer, Three-axis gyro, accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor. The battery on the iPhone 7 plus gives up to 14 hours of talk time on 3G, 12 hours of Internet usage on 3G, up to 12 hours on LTE, up to 14 hours on WiFi. It offers up to 10 days of standby time, up to 40 hours of audio playback and up to 14 hours of HD video playback.

Apple iPhone 7 Availability: Pre-order starts this Friday, September 9 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, the UK, US Virgin Islands and the US and it will go on sale starting from September 16, 2016. It will be available in Andorra, Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Greenland, Guernsey, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Kosovo, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Maldives, Malta, Monaco, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia and Slovenia beginning Friday, September 23.
