HTC has announced the One A9s smartphone in the A series at the IFA 2016 in Berlin. The device is the successor to the One A9 that was launched some time back. The One A9s sports a 5-inch LCD, 3GB Ram and is powered by MediaTek Helio P10SoC. The One A9s pricing and availability details are not revealed, stay tuned for more information on the same. HTC One A9s sports a 5.0-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) Super LCD with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by the MediaTek Helio P10 SoC clocked at 2GHz Octa-Core processor with 700MHz Mali T860MP2 GPU. It packs 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage for the base model and an another variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage with a microSD card slot on both the variant for memory expansion up to 2TB.
The HTC One A9s runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense UI on top. Talking about the camera, the device rocks a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture, and is capable of recording 1080p videos and on the front; there is a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.8 aperture, 1.12 μm Pixel for selfies and video calls.
It rocks a fingerprint sensor for extra security, HTC BoomSound, Two microphones with noise cancellation. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with GLONASS, NFC. A 2300mAh battery is on board. One A9s measure 146.49 x 71.5 x 7.99 mm and Weighs 149.8g.
