Huawei has announced the MediaPad M3 tablet at the IFA 2016 in Berlin, the latest MediaPad tablet sports an 8.4-inches 2K display, is powered by Kirin 950 SoC coupled with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. The Huawei MediaPad M3 comes in Gold and Silver colors and is priced at 349 Euros (US$ 388 / Rs. 26050 approx.) for the 32GB WiFi model. The LTE model with 32GB and 64GB storage are priced at 399 Euros (US$ 444 / Rs. 29,780 approx.) and 449 Euros (US$ 500 / Rs. 33,510 approx.), respectively. The Huawei MediaPad M3 sports an 8.4-inches (2560 x 1600) WQXGA IPS display with 400nits brightness. Powered by Kirin 950 SoC clocked at 2.3GHz Octa-Core 16nm processor with Mali T880-MP4 GPU coupled with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM with 32/64GB internal storage with a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Emotion UI 4.1 out of the box. In the camera department, the device features an 8-megapixel fixed focus rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. It also comes with a Fingerprint sensor for extra protection, Harman Kardon-certified stereo speakers, SWS 3.0 stereo sound effect. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS. A 5100mAh battery is on board.
