Motorola has introduced the Moto Z Play, budget segment moto device that comes with support for Moto Mods, 5.5-inches 1080p display and is powered by the Snapdragon 625SoC coupled with 3GB Ram. The Moto Z Play comes in Black, Silver, Black Slate, White, Fine Gold and Sugar White colors and is priced at $449.99 (Rs. 30,123 approx.) and available globally beginning in September. In Europe, it will be available for 499 Euros and in the US it will be available on Motorola.com and Verizon as Moto Z Play Droid Edition for $408 ($17/month) on September 8. The Motorola Moto Z Play sports a 5.5-inches Ful HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display that accounts to a pixel density of 403 PPI and the screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2GHz Octa-Core processor with Adreno 506 GPU coupled with 3GB RAM and 32/64GB internal storage with a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 2TB.
It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow right out of the box. Talking about the camera, the device rocks a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Laser Autofocus, PDAF, 1.3um pixel, f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera with Wide-Angle lens, LED flash for better low-light selfies and video calls. The Moto Z Play features a Fingerprint sensor for extra security, Front-ported loudspeaker, 3-mic support.
It also comes with Moto Mods connector, Water repellent nano-coating, 3.5mm audio jack. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, USB Type-C port. A 3510mAh battery with Turbocharging support is on board. The device measures 156.4 x 76.4 x 6.99mm and weighs 165g.
