Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 Android Powered Flip Phone Announced


Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Folder 2, successor to the last year’s Galaxy Folder smartphone in China. It is the company’s latest clamshell smartphone that is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow right out the box. The Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 comes in golden color and is expected to go on sale in China soon. The Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 sports a 3.8-inches (480 x 800 pixels) WVGA display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz Quad-Core processor with Adreno 308 GPU. It packs 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage with a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB. The Galaxy Folder 2 runs on Android 6.0.1 marshmallow right out of the box.


In the camera department, the device features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera with a f/1.9 aperture for better low-light selfies.
