Sony Xperia X Compact went official along with the Xperia XZ, the Xperia X sports a 4.6-inches HD Triluminos Display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by Snapdragon 650SoC with 3GB RAM on board. The Sony Xperia X Compact comes in Mist Blue, Universe Black and White colors and will roll out globally starting from October. No information on pricing yet. The Xperia X compact sports a 4.6-inches HD (1280  x 720 pixels) Triluminos Display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 650SoC with Hexa-Core processor with Adreno 510 GPU. It packs 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 256GB.

It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box. In the camera department, the device features a 23-megapixel rear camera with Exmos RS sensor, 1/2.3″ sensor, f/2.0 lens, Predictive Hybrid AF, 5-axis stabilization, and it can record 1080p videos. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel front camera with 1/3.06″ Exmor RS sensor, 22mm wide-angle f/2.0 lens; the front cam can also record 1080p videos.


The device features DSEE HX, LDAC, Digital Noise Cancelling, Fingerprint sensor for extra security. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C. A 2700 mAh Battery with Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging technology on board.
