Sony has launched the flagship XZ at the IFA Berlin, the company’s latest smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and 32/64GB internal storage. The Sony Xperia XZ comes in Forest Blue, Mineral Black, and Platinum colors and will roll out globally from October 2016 in single and dual SIM variants. The Sony Xperia XZ sports a 5.2-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Triluminos Display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC 64-bit Quad-Core processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It packs 3GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB internal memory with a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 200GB.

It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box. Talking about the camera, the device features a 23-megapixel rear camera with Exmos RS sensor, 1/2.3″ sensor, f/2.0 lens, Predictive Hybrid Astabilizationabilizatio, and it can record 4K videos and on the front, there is a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with 1/3” Exmor RS sensor, 22mm wide-angle f/2.0 lens.

It features a DSEE HX, LDAC, Digital Noise Cancelling, Fingerprint sensor on board for extra security, IP65/68 rated for Water Resistance. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C. A 2900 mAh Battery with Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging technology is on board.
