Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A8 (2016) smartphone in Korea. The Galaxy A8 (2016) is the successor to the last year’s A8. The device sports a massive 5.7-inches 1080p display and is powered by the Exynos 7420 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM. The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) comes in Blue, Gray, and Pink colors and is priced at 649,000 won (US$588 / Rs. 39,240) in Korea. Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) sports a 5.7-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Always-on Super AMOLED display and is powered by the Exynos 7420 SoC clocked at Quad 2.1GHz + Quad 1.5GHz Octa-Core 64-bit 14nm processor with Mali T760 GPU. It packs 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory with a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 256GB.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with TouchWiz U.I on top. In the camera department, the device packs a 16MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and an 8-megapixel shooter with a f/1.9 aperture for better selfies and video calls.
