Gionee has introduced the M2017; it’s the latest smartphone in the M-series at an event in China. The device sports a 5.7-inches Quad HD display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM. The biggest positive thing about the M2017 is its 7000mAh polymer lithium-ion battery. The Gionee M2017 comes in Gold and Black colors and is priced at 6,999 yuan (US$ 1007 / Rs. 68240 approx.) for the standard version, while the exclusive version with Italian custom alligator leather back is priced at a whopping 16,999 yuan (US$ 2446 / Rs. 1,65,740 approx.). It is already available for pre-order in China.

The Gionee M2017 sports a 5.7-inches Quad HD (2560 × 1440 pixels) AMOLED curved glass display with sapphire glass protection and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC clocked at 1.95GHz Octa-Core processor with Adreno 510 GPU. It packs 6GB RAM with 128/256GB internal memory. The Gionee M2017 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo OS 3.5.
In the camera department, the device packs a 12-megapixel + 13-megaapixel dual rear cameras with LED flash and an 8-megapixel shooter on the front. It also packs a Fingerprint sensor on board for extra security. Connectivity features include 4GLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG, USB 2.0 Type-C. A 7000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 is on board and it comes with its own intelligent power management system and low power consumption display, which promises up to 25 hours of continuous video playback and 915.42 hours of standby.
