Xiaomi has taken wraps off the Mi 6; the company’s latest flagship smartphone at an event in China. The Mi 6 is the successor to the last year’s Mi 5 series. The Mi 6 sports a 5.15-inches Full HD display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC with 6GB of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi 6 comes in Bright Blue, Bright Black, and White colors and also comes in Silver Edition and a Ceramic version with an 18K gold finish around the camera. It is priced at 2499 yuan (US$ 360 / Rs. 23,420 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage version and 2899 yuan (US$ 421 / Rs. 27,190 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version. The 6GB RAM variant with 128GB storage with ceramic body costs 2999 yuan (US$ 435 / Rs. 28,100 approx.). The device will be available in China starting from April 28.

The Xiaomi Mi 6 sports a 5.15-inches Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display with 600 nits brightness, 94.4% NTSC color gamut, 1500:1 contrast ratio and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC clocked at 2.45GHz Octa-Core 64-bit 10nm processor with Adreno 540 GPU. It packs 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB / 128GB (UFS) internal storage with no microSD card slot for memory expansion. The Xiaomi Mi 6 runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with MIUI 8 on top.
The Mi 6 features dual rear camera setup with 12-megapixel rear cameras with 1.25μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, 4-axis OIS, with 4K video recording and a secondary 12MP camera with 1.0 μm pixel size, 52mm portrait lens, f/2.6 aperture. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. It rocks an Ultrasonic Fingerprint sensor, Infrared sensor, and Stereo speakers. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, and USB Type-C. There is a 3350mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, 18W fast charging support on board.
