The Asus Zenfone AR sports a 5.7-inches Quad HD (2560 × 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display, NTSC over 100% and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC clocked at 2.3GHz Quad-Core processor with Adreno 530 GPU and packs 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4 RAM coupled with 32GB / 64GB / 128GB / 256GB (UFS 2.0) internal storage with a microSD card slot. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Zen UI 3.0 right out of the box.

In the camera department, the Zenfone AR features a 23-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, Sony IMX318 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 6P Largan lens, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS, Laser AF and an 8-megapixel shooter on the front with f/2.0 aperture, 85-dewide viewing angle for better selfies and video calls.
