The USP of the smartphone is believed to be camera and performance. If you are excited and cannot wait for more to get information about Lenovo K8 Note, then, in this case, you can sign up on the page and receive notifications. Let’s find out what Lenovo K8 Note will bring to the table.

Lenovo K8 Note is the successor to Lenovo K6 Note, and it also provides metal unibody design which gives it a premium feel in hands. There are curved edges on all the sides which make it easy for the user to carry and hold it. Lenovo K8 Note also features a rear fingerprint reader which is nowadays common in the latest Redmi phones.

The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch with LCD. The resolution of the screen is 1080×1920 pixels. The viewing angles won’t be a problem on Lenovo K8 Note and will offer perfect display even under the most difficult conditions.

However, you have to take some extra care of the phone as it doesn’t come with Corning gorilla glass and is prone to scratches. The device is available in various colors such as White, Blue, Rose Gold, and Black.

Lenovo K8 Note comes up with 2.3 GHz  processor. It retains the 4 GB RAM from Lenovo K6 Note. The performance is absolutely killer on Lenovo K8 Note as both the processor and RAM does go well hand in hand. Multitasking won’t be much of an issue as 4GB is capable of holding apps with ease. Lenovo K8 Note will provide you with quickest android experience as it runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

As mentioned the storage is 32GB, and if it’s not enough for you, then it’s expandable via microSD card up to 128 GB. Another area where Lenovo K8 Note received an upgrade is the battery. The battery has the capacity of 4,500 mAh which is enough for keeping your phone running throughout the day. They achieved it without making the smartphone on the heavier side.  Lenovo K8 Note manages a good 91 hours battery backup. The connectivity options also include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, micro USB 2.0 port, dual-SIM support and Bluetooth 4.2.

Lenovo K8 Note offers 16 MP shooter which is not bad for a budget smartphone. But the industry is changing rapidly, and there are plenty of examples that you can get brilliant image quality if you put some effort on camera. The prime examples are: Xiaomi Redmi 3S and offers excellent cameras.

Lenovo K8 Note will offer the dual-LED and phase detection autofocus; sadly there is no 4K recording as 1080p is the highest it will go. There are various camera modes which are available besides the normal and Pro shooting modes. Plus you will also get Fast and Slow motion, HDR, Nightscape, Panorama mode.

The reason on why it’s called behind the number 8 in K8 Note is not clear. The number does suggest that smartphone could also fancy a dual rear camera setup.

As I have mentioned earlier that Lenovo K8 Note can only shoot videos at 1080p@30fps. Video file will get recorded in standard mp4 format, and the video stream is at respectable 20Mbps, and the audio would be captured at 96 Kbps, 48 kHz in stereo.

The Lenovo K6 Note is available in dual SIM (nano). The only downside of this is that it uses a hybrid tray, so you have to sacrifice one of the SIM cards to get some extra storage. Wi-Fi is basic, but it’s good for a budget device. On the other side, Bluetooth is modern, but NFC is missing. You can also enjoy FM which is present in a smartphone.

Lenovo K8 Note key findings:

  • The 5.5 inch LCD screen offers a good contrast. Reading in the sun is not a difficult task it is not brilliant, but it does the work. The same is for the color accuracy.
  • The fingerprint reader is quick and fast.
  • The device doesn’t have NFC.
  • As there is a bigger battery, so the smartphone is a little bit on the heavier side. The phone makes good use of the extra juice.
